Symposium & Cultural Event Commemorating the 50th Anniversary

Event Outline

2022 marked 50 years since Japan established diplomatic ties with three Middle Eastern countries: UAE, Oman, and Bahrain. To celebrate this special occasion with a broad audience, the Japanese government collaborated with each country’s government to create an official logo to commemorate the 50th anniversary of each bilateral relation. In addition, the public and private sectors have been holding cultural and arts events and economic projects to enhance mutual understanding and promote stronger ties.

During the Commemorative Symposium, there will be discussions on Japan’s bilateral relations with the three countries, the regional situation, and areas of future collaboration. There will also be cultural events (March 11 –12) to promote each country’s traditions, food culture, tourist attractions, and more.
